Foreign attendees coming from foreign country(or region) - If you’re coming to UbuCon Asia 2024 but not registered and submitted visa letter request yet, please make sure to complete by June 22 7PM IST. (1:30 UTC+0). As Indian e-Conference Visa requires organizer to submit list of participants to relevant authority in advance, Our local team need to gather information from international attendees early. If you don’t register and submit visa letter request in time, you might be difficult to get e-Conference Visa and attend in-person.

We are exited to announce our schedule is now live! This year UbuCon Asia 2024 will take place from August 31st to September 2nd, 2024, at pink city of innovation of Jaipur, India.

Hello everyone! As we finished reviewing all proposals for UbuCon Asia 2024. We’re now sequentially publishing result for each proposals. As we have already sent out results to foreign speakers, We’ll be also sending out results to local speakers soon starting from today.

To see if your proposal was accepted, you may either check out Call for Abstracts or My Contributions. Email notification will be also sent to your inbox. You may check if you have received any mails from noreply+events@canonical.com for such notifications.

CFP & Travel grant for speakers now closed

With May begins, We’re now closing Call for proposals for this year’s UbuCon Asia. We have received many proposals with interesting topics for about past 7 weeks. Thank you everyone who submitted proposals! With that, we’re now also closing travel grant application for speakers. For those who submitted both proposal and travel grant application, We’ll review both together and inform you about the results later.

Greetings! We’re announcing today that we’re extending deadline for call for proposal until April 30. If you were rushing into deadline for submitting your proposal, You now have some extra times to complete your submission. Due to Visa invitation process and travel grant process, there will be no further CFP deadline extension after April 30.

If you need travel grant from the organizing committee, please also make sure to submit application before the CFP deadline. So that we can review your session proposal and travel grant application together and easily confirm your participation later.
